Our Team
Matt Harris
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Coreprime, Matt oversees the management and strategic growth of the firm. Matt’s leadership and industry expertise has enabled Coreprime to become one of the fastest-growing commercial insurance brokerages in the Western U.S.
Matt is active in both the Nevada and Southern California business communities. Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of the UNLV Football Foundation and is an active member of the USC Alumni Club of Las Vegas, the USC Alumni Group of Orange County, the Northern Nevada USC Alumni Association, and the LMU MBA Alumni Association. Matt played football at the collegiate level with both USC (2000-2001) and UNLV (2001-2003).
Holding a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Matt resides in Las Vegas with his wife and four daughters.
Sean Retke
Partner and Vice President, Employee Benefits
As VP of the Employee Benefits Division, Sean leads the sales operations for the Southern NV office. He manages a team of professionals who assist with the ever-changing Employee Benefits world. He has been licensed for over 20 years and he takes pride in providing the best service possible using his in-depth knowledge, education, and expertise.
Sean prides himself on good old-fashioned customer service while also successfully implementing the newest, most effective technology for his customers. Sean is an industry veteran, and prior to partnering with Coreprime, was the co-owner of Cornerstone Benefits & Insurance for 15 years.
Sean is a Las Vegas native, and he doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Sean loves helping both employers and employees on a daily basis. Sean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from UNLV. He is the proud father of three children (Averie, Adelyn & Collin), and he has been married to his best friend Angie for 10 years.
Kyle Bertelson
Employee Benefits Broker
Born and raised in Reno, NV, Kyle leads the Employee Benefits sales operations for the Northern Nevada office. Kyle has been an active member of the Reno community from a young age, volunteering and serving on the boards of various non-profit, including Step-2, Reno Rodeo Association, Reno Rodeo Foundation, and Girls on the Run Sierras. After graduating from Reno High School, Kyle attended Gonzaga University to play Baseball until returning to UNR due to an injury. While attending UNR, Kyle owned and operated a small business in the Reno area, and spent ten years coaching baseball at Reno High School.
After selling his business in 2014, Kyle started working as an employee benefits broker and has been working primarily with Nevada and California businesses to manage and administer their employee benefit packages. Bringing his experience as a small business owner, and dealing first hand with the pain points of administering insurance policies, Kyle is able to help clients navigate the healthcare landscape while educating their employees in the robust benefits offered. Working with businesses across a wide range of industries, Kyle has extensive experience helping new and expanding companies overcome the hurdles that come with taking your business to the next level.
As a third generation graduate of UNR, and grandson of former UNR football coach and Athletic Director, Kyle enjoys supporting Nevada Athletics with friends and family. An avid sportsman, he is regularly found spending his free time taking advantage of the vast outdoors that Nevada has to offer.
Stacey Sheer
Account Executive
As Account Executive, Stacey is responsible for the servicing of the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals, as well as the implementation and management of small and large group Benefit programs.
Stacey is a seasoned health insurance professional who brings 22 years of small group, large group and key account experience to the Coreprime Team. She previously worked as a Field Account Manager for UnitedHealthcare serving as the day-to-day liaison for some of the largest employers in the Las Vegas valley. She delivers a high-level of service to all of her clients and prides herself on her exceptional customer service and industry expertise.
A native of Las Vegas, Stacey is proud to call Nevada her home. In her spare time, she’s pursuing her next Apple fitness goal, clicking into the pedals on her Peloton, or spending time with her husband and two kids.
Letty Quintana
Account Executive
As Account Executive, Letty is responsible for servicing the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals and implementing and managing corporate Benefit programs for groups of all sizes.
A seasoned, bilingual Employee Benefits professional with over twenty years of industry experience, Letty brings her small group, large group, and key account expertise to the Coreprime team.
Originally from Truckee, CA, Letty has called Nevada her home for over 30 years. In her spare time, Letty enjoys the local events and festivities year-round in Reno, traveling to warm sunny beaches in Mexico, and loves spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their newest Goldendoodle addition.
Andrew Segal
Risk Manager
As Risk Manager, Andrew Segal is responsible for leading Coreprime’s Property & Casualty division. He began his career in 2013 and has worked with commercial clients across multiple industries. As a former agency owner, Andrew brings a detailed understanding of the many risks and challenges that business owners face. This business-oriented perspective enables Andrew to develop customized solutions that help our commercial clients mitigate their risks so they can focus on growing their businesses. Andrew’s expertise includes commercial lines, excess and surplus lines as well as high net worth high-net-worth personal lines. A Las Vegas native, Andrew attended Valley High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and minor in Spanish from Whittier College. He is a loving husband, proud father of 3, animal lover, gym addict and avid mountain biker.
Shaniya Epps
Employee Benefits Broker
As an Employee Benefits Broker, Shaniya is responsible for the design and management of commercial Employee Benefits programs for Coreprime groups across the region. Based in Los Angeles but raised in Las Vegas, Shaniya brings expertise in both the Nevada and California markets that is invaluable for our commercial clientele. Shaniya believes that every client deserves exceptional attention to detail from their broker and she is passionate about educating and caring for groups of all sizes. Shaniya works closely with business owners to understand their challenges, identify solutions, and advise on the best path forward. Her goal is to see your company and your employees thrive.
Shaniya graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in 2020 and earned her insurance producer license soon thereafter. Apart from caring for her clients, Shaniya loves to laugh with her family, spoil her dog Chowder, and eat dessert before dinner.
Olivia Castillo
Marketing Director and Licensed Broker
As a Licensed Broker and Marketing Director in Coreprime’s Private Client division, Olivia excels in helping clients find the best private health insurance plan to meet their specific needs. Olivia is a dedicated and compassionate agent that truly enjoys helping members of the community understand how to make the best decision for themselves when it comes to their healthcare. When she is not working with clients directly, she helps ensure the enrollment process runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish and works consistently to stay up to date with industry changes and their impact on Coreprime clients across the region.
Olivia was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked in the insurance industry for over 9 years and loves being part of the Coreprime team. Prior to obtaining her insurance license, Olivia was a Casino Sales Executive for Caesars Entertainment where she managed VIP client relationships in various markets across the United States. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from UNLV’s Lee Business School. As a mother of two small children and wife, Olivia spends most of her time outside of work with her amazing family who push her to excel in every way possible.
Allan Morones
Finance and Accounting Specialist
As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, Allan is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations of the company. Allan’s eagerness to learn and his passion for numbers are crucial for effectively managing the organization’s financial functions.
As a native of Las Vegas, Allan has a deep connection to our company and the Las Vegas community. He graduated from Bishop Gorman High School as Co-Valedictorian, was a member of multiple prestigious Honor Societies, and led the State of Nevada’s top High School Mock Trial Program for three consecutive years. Allan is a member of the UNLV Honors College and serves as an executive board member of the UNLV Financial Management Association. Allan’s unwavering ambition to excel in everything he does is a valuable asset to our team.
In his spare time, Allan enjoys exploring unique menu options at new restaurants with his friends, spending time with his family, cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights and the Mexican National Soccer Team, and traveling to Mexico to visit his extended family.
