Melinda brings over six years of brokerage-side experience to the Coreprime team. As a Client Services representative for Coreprime, Melinda loves interacting with clients and helping navigate them navigate the healthcare landscape.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Melinda grew up in Las Vegas, NV. Melinda moved away for a short time to go to college in Grants Pass, Oregon, but moved back to Las Vegas as soon as she could. In Melinda’s spare time she loves going to Disneyland, the beach, and the mountains with her family. Melinda also enjoys spending time with her two older sons and daughter, as well as watching her youngest daughter barrel race.

Madai Victorin

Client Services

Having previously served in HR as the Benefits Administrator for a large Las Vegas-based organization for4 years, Madai knows firsthand what clients are looking for in an employee benefits broker. Madai loves helping employees understand their benefit options so they can elect the best plan for their family’s healthcare needs. As a Client Services representative at Coreprime, Madai supports the team with renewals, audits, marketing proposals and helping employers and their employees navigate the healthcare landscape.

Born and raised in California, Madai has lived in Las Vegas for 8 years now and has decided to make this beautiful city her home. In her spare time, Madai enjoys spending time with her daughter, watching her grow and celebrating her milestones.

Andrew Segal

Risk Manager

As Risk Manager, Andrew Segal is responsible for leading Coreprime’s Property & Casualty division. He began his career in 2013 and has worked with commercial clients across multiple industries. As a former agency owner, Andrew brings a detailed understanding of the many risks and challenges that business owners face. This business-oriented perspective enables Andrew to develop customized solutions that help our commercial clients mitigate their risks so they can focus on growing their businesses. Andrew’s expertise includes commercial lines, excess and surplus lines, as well as high value personal lines. A Las Vegas native, Andrew attended Valley High School and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and minor in Spanish from Whittier College. He is a loving husband, proud father of 3, animal lover, gym addict and avid mountain biker.

Shaniya Epps

Employee Benefits Broker

As an Employee Benefits Broker, Shaniya is responsible for the design and management of commercial Employee Benefits programs for Coreprime groups across the region. Based in Los Angeles but raised in Las Vegas, Shaniya brings expertise in both the Nevada and California markets that is invaluable for our commercial clientele. Shaniya believes that every client deserves exceptional attention to detail from their broker and she is passionate about educating and caring for groups of all sizes. Shaniya works closely with business owners to understand their challenges, identify solutions, and advise on the best path forward. Her goal is to see your company and your employees thrive.

Shaniya graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in 2020 and earned her insurance producer license soon thereafter. Apart from caring for her clients, Shaniya loves to laugh with her family, spoil her dog Chowder, and eat dessert before dinner.

Olivia Castillo

Individual Health and Medicare Broker

As an Individual Health and Medicare Broker in Coreprime’s Private Client division, Olivia excels in helping clients find the best private health insurance plan to meet their specific needs. Olivia is a dedicated and compassionate agent that truly enjoys helping members of the community understand how to make the best decision for themselves when it comes to their healthcare. When she is not working with clients directly, she helps ensure the enrollment process runs as smoothly as possible from start to finish and works consistently to stay up to date with industry changes and their impact on Coreprime clients across the region.

Olivia was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has worked in the insurance industry for over 9 years and loves being part of the Coreprime team. Prior to obtaining her insurance license, Olivia was a Casino Sales Executive for Caesars Entertainment where she managed VIP client relationships in various markets across the United States. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from UNLV’s Lee Business School. As a mother of two small children and wife, Olivia spends most of her time outside of work with her amazing family who push her to excel in every way possible.

Svetlana Sumschi

Individual Health and Medicare Broker

Svetlana Sumschi is an Individual Health and Medicare Broker with over five years of experience in the insurance industry. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the often-complex world of health coverage with clarity and confidence. With a deep understanding of both individual health and Medicare plans, Svetlana takes the time to listen carefully to each client’s concerns, identify their specific needs, and provide personalized solutions that align with their goals. Her top priority is to ensure that every client fully understands their plan benefits and feels empowered to make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.

Originally from Moldova, Svetlana has lived in the United States for the past 15 years. She speaks Romanian, Russian, Spanish, and English, allowing her to serve a wide and diverse community.

Outside of her professional life, Svetlana is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Allan Morones

Director of Finance

As Director of Finance, Allan is responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative operations of the company. Allan’s eagerness to learn and his passion for numbers are crucial for effectively managing the organization’s financial functions.

A Las Vegas native, Allan brings a strong connection to both our company and the local community. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Lee Business School. While at UNLV, Allan was a member of the Honors College and served on the executive board of the UNLV Financial Management Association. His drive for excellence and commitment to high standards make him a valuable asset to our team.

In his spare time, Allan enjoys exploring unique menu options at new restaurants with his friends, spending time with his family, cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights and the Mexican National Soccer Team, and traveling to Mexico to visit his extended family.

Sean Retke

Partner and Vice President, Employee Benefits

Sean brings over twenty years of high-level employee benefits consulting experience to his role as Vice President and Partner at Coreprime. Sean has earned his reputation as one of the leading employee benefits consultants in Nevada by being relentlessly focused on the needs of the client and continually keeping businesses on the cutting-edge of the ever-changing employee benefits landscape.

Sean prides himself on good old-fashioned customer service while also successfully implementing the newest, most effective technology for his customers. Sean is an industry veteran, and prior to partnering with Coreprime, was the co-owner of Cornerstone Benefits & Insurance for 15 years.

Sean is a Las Vegas native, and he doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Sean loves helping both employers and employees on a daily basis. Sean holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from UNLV. He is the proud father of three children (Averie, Adelyn & Collin), and he has been married to his best friend Angie for 10 years.

Tammy Thomas

Partner and Vice President, Employee Benefits

With over 30 years of experience in the Group Benefits Arena, Tammy combines extensive industry expertise and strategic insight, with a strong focus on driving sales growth and building lasting client relationships. She specializes in cultivating strong, enduring partnerships and delivering white glove service, complemented by innovative technology solutions that create meaningful value for clients.

Prior to joining Coreprime, Tammy was the owner of Employee Benefit Solutions, Inc., where she built a reputation for integrity, personalized service, and forward-thinking benefit strategies. Her career has been defined by a passion for guiding business owners through the complexities of employee benefits with clarity and confidence.

Tammy earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is a member of the UNLV Alumni Association.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, going on walks, and exploring her creative side through interior design. Tammy is married, has two children, and is a proud “grandparent” to her beloved grand dog.

Matt Harris

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Coreprime, Matt oversees the management and strategic growth of the firm. Matt’s leadership and industry expertise has enabled Coreprime to become one of the fastest-growing commercial insurance brokerages in the Western U.S.

Matt is active in both the Nevada and Southern California business communities. Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of the UNLV Football Foundation and is an active member of the USC Alumni Club of Las Vegas, the USC Alumni Group of Orange County, the Northern Nevada USC Alumni Association, and the LMU MBA Alumni Association. Matt played football at the collegiate level with both USC (2000-2001) and UNLV (2001-2003).

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Matt resides in Las Vegas with his wife and four daughters.

Kathy Ujifusa

Senior Account Manager

Lindsay brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience to her role as Senior Account Manager at Coreprime, where she is committed to building strong, lasting relationships with our employee benefits clients. Her extensive background includes experience on both the carrier and broker/consultant sides, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a strategic approach to client service.

Throughout her career, Lindsay has developed a reputation for excellence in high-touch customer service, compliance, and strategic benefits consulting. She specializes in supporting mid- to large-sized companies, helping them design and implement customized employee benefits strategies that align with their organizational goals. Lindsay is known for delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client partnerships.

Originally from Washington state, Lindsay has called Nevada her home for over three decades. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. As a proud mom of a high school athlete who competes in travel sports, much of her free time is spent on the road supporting her daughter. Lindsay also loves to travel and is always planning her next getaway!

Taylre Brigham

Account Executive

As Account Executive, Taylre is responsible for servicing the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals, as well as implementing and managing corporate Benefit programs for groups of all sizes.

With 8 years of benefits experience on the PEO side, Taylre brings high-level service to all of her clients allowing them to enhance their benefit offerings and retain top level talent. She prides herself in delivering creative and timely solutions for all groups she works with.

A native of Idaho, Taylre has called Boise her home for over 30 years. When not working, Taylre enjoys spending time with her husband and two kiddos, exploring new restaurants, cheering on the Golden State Warriors, and exploring the outdoors with her 2 dogs.

Kristi Riley

Account Executive

As Account Executive, Kristi is responsible for servicing the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals as well as implementing and managing corporate Benefit programs for groups of all sizes.

With almost 20 years of experience, her passion and advocacy to help companies navigate the complex world of benefits is top-notch. Kristi specializes in designing and managing comprehensive employee benefits programs that enhance employee satisfaction while aligning with organizational goals. Known for her client-focused approach and strong analytical skills, Kristi is dedicated to understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering customized solutions that drive engagement and retention.

Born and raised in Wyoming, Kristi has called Reno home for over 20 years. When not working, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, whether traveling or playing board/card games at home.

Letty Quintana

As Account Executive, Letty is responsible for servicing the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals and implementing and managing corporate Benefit programs for groups of all sizes.

A seasoned, bilingual Employee Benefits professional with over twenty years of industry experience, Letty brings her small group, large group, and key account expertise to the Coreprime team.

Originally from Truckee, CA, Letty has called Nevada her home for over 30 years. In her spare time, Letty enjoys the local events and festivities year-round in Reno, traveling to warm sunny beaches in Mexico, and loves spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their newest Goldendoodle addition.

Stacey Sheer

Account Executive

As Account Executive, Stacey is responsible for the servicing of the Employee Benefit programs for Coreprime groups across the region, strategizing on new group proposals and renewals, as well as the implementation and management of small and large group Benefit programs.

Stacey is a seasoned health insurance professional who brings 22 years of small group, large group and key account experience to the Coreprime Team. She previously worked as a Field Account Manager for UnitedHealthcare serving as the day-to-day liaison for some of the largest employers in the Las Vegas valley. She delivers a high-level of service to all of her clients and prides herself on her exceptional customer service and industry expertise.

A native of Las Vegas, Stacey is proud to call Nevada her home. In her spare time, she’s pursuing her next Apple fitness goal, clicking into the pedals on her Peloton, or spending time with her husband and two kids.

Kyle Bertelson

Employee Benefits Broker

Born and raised in Reno NV, Kyle has been an active member in the Reno community since a young age, volunteering and serving on the board with different non-profits including Step-2, Reno Rodeo Association, Reno Rodeo Foundation, and Girls on the Run Sierras. After graduating from Reno High School, Kyle attended Gonzaga University to play Baseball until returning to UNR due to an injury. While attending UNR, Kyle owned and operated a small business in the Reno area, and spent ten years coaching baseball at Reno High School.

After selling his business in 2014, Kyle started working as an employee benefits broker and has been working primarily with Nevada and California businesses to manage and administer their employee benefit packages. Bringing his experience as a small business owner, and dealing first hand with the pain points of administering insurance policies, Kyle is able to help clients navigate the healthcare landscape while educating their employees in the robust benefits offered. Working with businesses across a wide range of industry, Kyle has extensive experience helping new and expanding companies overcome the hurdles that come with taking your business to the next level.

As a third generation graduate of UNR, and grandson of former UNR football coach and Athletic Director, Kyle enjoys supporting Nevada Athletics with friends and family. An avid sportsman, he is regularly found spending his free time taking advantage of the vast outdoors that Nevada has to offer.
